Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 cooling question

    Hi,
I have Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 processor. The heatsink & fan is ordinary.
The temperature of the CPU while working is around 95 degrees C.
Is this temp OK or i need to do something regarding this?
    Please help me.

Well if you have overclocked your processor then its another case but if not then you have to be sure there is something wrong IMO.

Hey I don't think its a real temp you have noticed if its true then it must have been shutdown at this temperature.
Will you tell us how you came to know about this? I mean is it any temp monitoring program or BIOS temp.?

you might try to reapply the thermal paste as it seems you were fairly new to it. Most new builders put WAY too much on because they think it will help, when in reality, only a very very small amount is needed (very thin line down the centre).
