Crucial unveils triple channel DDR3 kits

Crucial / Lexar / Micron unveils its triple channel kits for the platform i7 Core / Intel X58. 11 references are proposed. All meet the standard voltage of DDR3 is 1.5 V. Two speeds are proposed, with the DDR3-1066 and the DDR3-1333. Latencies ranging from a classic CL9 a relatively more efficient CL7.

Note the presence of a kit 12 GB (4 GB modules), a first in a long list of manufacturers that have announced kits or triple channel since before the launch of Core i7. For information on the memory controller newest Intel supports up to 24GB of DDR3. All these kits are guaranteed for life.

We miss more than i7 affordable processors and a motherboard too, as well as CG not too expensive....hmm I am good with my Athlon XP 2600 + and my 5200 yet FX me, it enough for what I do.

Indeed prices are starting to be interesting, and closer to the normal price of DDR2 (I speak not of current prices are very low for a while).
