    Motherboard Damaged, my warranty violate

For about a week ago I built a PC. Everything went quite well but then I was not able to go on the network. I thought that there was something wrong with the motherboard because I tried no. of times and installed drivers and switched between Vista / XP.

I sent the card back to the retailer. But they rejected the card because it was physically damaged. There are more bent pins in cpu shelf. They also said that this is user fault and so it is not covered under warranty.

This shock me, because this is not the first PC I had build! I had built around 15-20 PCs, and I am not at all unaware of things!

I have also installed a Zalman 9700 cpu cooler. This is in a way my fault yes, but I have built numerous PCs with just this motherboard and this cpu cooler, but something has happened!

Should I just take it as a mistake, or what you believe?

    Take it as a mistake.

No matter how many computers you've built before, there will always be a time or now in the future where you will be doing a mistake at the assembly. Yes, maybe just because you have built many computers before.

Thanks, but what I do not understand is that the pins, just turn out the network and nothing more?

I have worked in computer production. It is very likely to make mistakes when we do work quickly. The guarantee drops regardless of whether it works or not due to physical damage.
