    G33 vs P35

    G33 vs P35 Which is better?
    Performance & Overclocking wise?

    I'm more an AMD guy so my knowledge of newer Intel products is limited, but the P35 is the new of the two chipsets and would also be the better choice if you plan to overclock. Most motherboards with onboard graphics don't OC as well as those without.

    Actually, I'd say that you're better off getting a P35, sure they most of them have 4-layer PCBs, but it doesn't make a difference now as Yorkfield is delayed for that particular problem. Unless you're going Crossfire ( full x16 bandwidth on both slots with the X38 ), the P35 will perform just about the same. X38's will probably overclock better, but if you're not pushing the limit ( 450+ FSB ) then you won't notice a difference. Those two would be the only real reasons to get an X38 and you're not a gamer and don't sound like you're one to push the limit of your system either...so I'd save your money or put it towards something more useful.
