SM bus driver, what is it ?

    Hi,

I have a motherboard company Asus model P4S800-MX , It has a built-in network card model SiS 900-based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter running on Speed 10 MBbit / sec (but supports 100MBbit/sek).When switching speed of 100 MBbit / sec in Device Manager, a new device "SM bus controller, and the rate does not change. This tool, please, what kind of device, what they need and where to get him a driver for Windows XP.

the smbus (system management bus) drivers are part of the unified driver for the nforce and nforce 2 chipset. But beware, it warns to use the audio drivers supplied with your board, because for some reason, the new ones will not install. But, there should be no problems with the rest of the driver set.
