Computer freeze with out any beep or bsod

My problem is that my computer is completely freeze. I can see the fans starting and also the disk, but no Beep or bsod.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Still didn't work? I found somewhere that this could be the psu problem. However my system specs are as below which might help you.

Abit IS-10 mobo
GeForce 6800 GT graphics card
2 GB RAM
80GB Hard disk
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300

Check the jumper if it is placed loose. Also try to change the BIOS chip and see if that works because I think either your has been corrupted or not supported.

How CMOS is cleared?Is there any command to do so?

Hello Satyam, can you tell me why do you want to clear the CMOS? Do you know erasing (or clearing) the CMOS memory will cause you to lose all settings in the BIOS.

Do you have problems like motherboard failure? If yes then look at this thread. It will also tell you how to clear the CMOS.

thank you Marthaz for yor reply..I just wondered abt CMOS about cleaning ..coz evrybudy talking abt CMOS but now I got it..am actually new to check the failing computer...I want to diagnose my pc by myself and checking sm useful trick or tips for my pc to run faster and prevent any failures!!

can i ask u abt anything abt pc anytime??
