Dont think PCI Express is available in the Indian market as yet, or maybe quite rare. They're just popping up in US stores - the X300, X600 PCI express cards.
Also the X300, X600 PCI express cards are based on the 9500 cores. they arent as good as the x800 series.

The X300 and X600 are not exactly the same core as the 9600. These support SM 2.0b, the 9600 core (RV360) supports SM 2.0 only

imo actual performance of x300 is that of a souped up radeon 9200 and that of x600 is a pci express version for radeon 9600,to the best of my knowledge.

NOOO,, Its only SM2 Not sm2B. Even the 9600xt supports only SM2. The x300 and x600 are PCI express versions of the Radeon 9600, the former being the first test of a die shrink.

    x600 built on a .13U
    while the x300 on a .11U

    They are clocked at
    X600XT PCIe 500/365
    X300 PCIe 325/195
Give or take a few MHZ up and down.

They both have 4 Pixcel Pipelines just as the 9600

9600XT is only SM2. X600 supports pixel shader 2b (which is a part of shader model 3 btw). Check this if you don't believe me:

omg, Ok maybe you are right with this, even the x800 series supports this its not a big deal, SM3 will be the way to go.
There is not much mention of SM2b anywhere.
