    SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X worth it?

I have recently checked out this new graphics card called SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X at a local computer shop and am wondering to purchase it. But after searching for some reviews on this graphics card I cannot see anyone talking about it. So, therefore I was thinking if this video card is good for gaming and editing or not. Is there any known problem with it? How much power does it consumes and temperature and noise? Thanks

Well, one of my colleague has this SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X card and he is quite happy with it. The reason he chose this card was because the Dual-X model was the low end model of the 3 Sapphire 280x model graphics card. The 280X card is nothing but a changed with a label of AMD 7970. I would have gone with the Toxic graphics card but it would have been an overkill, so I was looking at one that could run cool and quiet and that is why I have bought the DUAL-X R9 280X card.

The SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X is a very good card. Incase you are using a very old graphics card then this R9 280X would be a great buy for you. With this video card you can expect to work for atleast 2 to 3 generations for sure. There is also no difference between a 280X and 7970 video card. The above member has also discussed like many others that 280X is just a rebranded version of 7970. When you calculate the performance then both are similar to each other. But the price is of a 7970 is costlier than a 280x card.

It doesnt matter if there are not many reviews on the SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X being a new card or an old card. Its just a renamed and tweaked version fo the HD7970 GHz graphics card for which you can see plenty of reviews. This Sapphire model is 13% faster than a stock 280X card and 5% faster than the factory overclocked Asus card. Also, teh 280x card is faster than a stock GTX 770 card and comes at a low price range of 50 dollars less. You should definitely get this card.
