GTX 760 vs GTX 770 graphics card

So, I am now looking to upgrade my graphics card now. I came upon 2 graphics card and was wondering if it will be worth to go with GTX 770 graphics card over the GTX 760 for some extra money or not. I am using a quad core CPU and I am still thinking that a GTX 770 will be bottlenecked by the CPU in most of the games. Also I am not really impressed with the benchmarks of GTX 760 and want a FPS of about 60 in many games. Thanks for any help in advance.

Well, if you want to play games in Full HD, that is; 1920x1080 pixels resolution then the GTX 770 would be a good choice but still if you dont intend to upgrade the quad core CPU that you have then just grab yourself the GTX 760 graphics card. No matter what so ever game you play with that quad core, all high end games will bottleneck with that CPU and you wont get enjoy the full gaming experience that you can get with any iCore processor.

Well, I have another pc on which I am running GTX 670 video card along with quad core q900 series cpu and I am getting very good gaming experience at 1080p, so if you purchase the GTX 760 card then it will also give you the same experience. But note that you will only gain a little bit of FPS at most while running the GTX 760 in your pc. So, take the 760 now and later on upgrade the CPU and Motherboard and then grab the most strongest card later.

If you can upgrade the CPU then I will definitely suggest you to go with GTX 770 card and you can expect 50+ FPS in 1080p in most of the latest games quite easily compared to the GTX 760. There is no doubt that the graphical capabilities of Nvidia GTX 770 is far more better than the GTX 760. There is also a 66mhz higher clock speed and 32 more texture mapping units in GTX 770 compared to GTX 760. So, you can expect a better texturing performance.
