working nvidia 314.22 past drivers for GTX 570

I bought a second hand GTX 570 from one of my friend last month. He told me not to install any nvidia drivers past 314.22 version because all the updated driver do not work properly for the 400/500 series graphics card. Just some day ago I accidentally updated the driver by mistake from the nvidia control panel but realizing my mistake I immediately uninstalled it and reinstalled the driver version 314.22 again. But now if I am trying to play any games in DirectX 11 then it will not run at all. I uninstalled this driver and installed old driver beyond 314.22 but still that was giving me the same problem. Now I am stuck and I dont know what should I do to solve this problem? Please help me out.

You will need to delete the nvidia folders that can be found in C:\Nvidia, C:\Program Files (x86) and also C:\Users\Yourname\Appdata\Local, after you have uninstalled the drivers. After that restart your computer and then let Windows install the generic driver for it. After that restart your machine again and then try to install the driver 314.22 version by running it as administrator. Hope this helps you out.

There are many people facing this problem with the Nvidia driver and it seems that the company itself is not interested in supporting or releasing a working driver for the Nvidia 400/500 series graphics card. These series cards are also not that much old and earlier all drivers used to work with cards that were older than 400/500 series.

I am still having problem going through the method discussed above and it seems that only Nvidia can sort this thing out. I am hardly able to play any games for more than 5 minutes because then the game would crash to desktop. If Nvidia is not fixing this problem then there is no means of investing in this manufacturer's graphics card and it will be best to take some different course.
