HD 7950 vs GTX 760

I was going to buy a new Radeon HD 7950 graphics card which was coming along with 2 games called Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3 at my local store. But now that the GTX 760 is available in the market I was having this second thought to go with it, since its a little less expensive. Where ever I have compared both the cards I have seem same results? So I am confused and hence I am asking you all guys which card should I buy? Thanks.

I would suggest that you go with the GTX 760 video card which is obviously faster than the HD 7950. As you have mentioned the 760 card also comes at a cheaper rate. The 2GB from the GTX 760 card will be more than enough for a single 1080p monitor although the 3GB vram of HD 7950 will be good though. You can even go with the Sapphire HD 7970 graphics card which is way to better than both this cards.

Well, if you would like to do some overclocking then HD 7950 will be obviously faster than the GTX 760 but I think that even after overclocking the 7950 card you will reach to the same performance level of GTX 760 and also will reduce the life span of the radeon card. So, it is better to go with the Nvidia one or else if you can spen some more then go with the HD 7970 which will be best for you.

I am using a HD 7950 video card from quite some time and I should say that its extra Vram plays an important role in the games and future. You also get so much of bundled games with it which is not a bad deal after all. If you intend to do a crossfire in the future then you will also get a good performance or scaling. I personally dont like nvidia card at all, being an AMD fan.
