GTX 760 Ti or GTX 660 Ti

I was previously having a HD 6000 series of Radeon graphics card with me that is not working now. So, I am opting now to buy a new video card from Nvidia manufacturers. The thing is that I am going to play high end games on my computer so I was looking to purchase the GTX 660 Ti graphics card for me. But recently I heard from somewhere that GTX 760 Ti is soon going to be released. So, I was in double mind whether to wait for the 760 Ti or should I just go with the 660 Ti card? What do you suggest?

Well, I think that the Nvidia GTX 660 Ti would be more than sufficient to meet up with the gaming requirements and you will enjoy playing games even on a higher scale of 1920 x 1080 resolution as well. This card is also equivalent to the GTX 670 and only have difference in memory bus. You can easily play Battlefield 3 game at ultra resolution with a frame rate of 60FPS as well.

I think that the GTX 760 Ti will not be more than 25% faster than a 660Ti and also it will be more costly than the latter. Also, it would have been great if GTX 760 Ti was going to come with DirectX 12 support then it would have made an impact. Also, if you SLI 660 Ti then you may even be able to play upcoming games like BF4 or any other game on a very good FPS and you wont have to bear the stuttering or lagging issues.

Re: GTX 760 Ti or GTX 660 Ti

The GTX 760 Ti is still forced for a late release due to the increase in its price. I think that it may cost more than $500 and on the other hand the GTX 660 Ti was released on $400. I think that 660 Ti is a powerful card and almost all games you can play on max with fps 50-60. However, for the new upcoming games the 660 Ti wont be up to the mark and the best bet would be to go for the 770 Ti if you want to play games with such performance.
