Good graphics card for gaming on Windows 8

I have installed windows 8 in my system recently, it doesn’t have a discrete graphic card and its onboard graphic card is not capable of running latest games. I am not fond of gaming but I was planning to get a discrete graphic card from a long time. So this is the right time, just suggest me some good graphics card for gaming on Windows 8 so I can pick up one early as possible.

SALAZAR, there are number of GPU’s in the market and they fall in different range as well. Can you be a bit specific with your budget so that we can suggest you some accordingly??

Ok, I can spend up to $150 not more than that. I want to get the best one in my budget, the one which will be capable of running latest games without issues. Other than that it should come up with 2 year manufacturer warranty as well. My system has 450 W PSU and I don’t want to invest in that as well. So suggest me a card which won’t consume more power.
If you need any other information to help me out then please let me know, hope I’ll pick up the best deal with the help or experts over here. Thanks in advance to all those who will try to help.

Get " EVGA 01G-P4-3650-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card" It fits in your budget perfectly. You can run almost all the latest game having requirement of 1GB graphic card but then that depends on other system components like processor, ram and mobo as well. If you have good processor and ram to support this card then you can surely run latest games without issues. This card is available at Newegg for $150.
