Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked or Sapphire Radeon HD 7850

Need help on this , I was thinking what will be better between Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked and Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 , well the Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked come with the free Battlefield 3 coupon and that would be on big advantage as I was thinking about buying this game for long , I want to play in the high setting of 1080p as the quality of Ultra settings would not justify the compromise on fps. Now as per the price Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked looks like the better value , an I saw the article online where it was mentioned that the battlefield 3 is merely 2 fps difference , but the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 is the future-proof. Si there any one here help me on this I will be really appreciating this effort .

    Thanks in advance

Gigabyte 560 non-Ti Super Clocked more efficient heat sink in terms of noise, strip steel and copper heatpipes. To ensure a greater influx of air, have been used fans positioned in an inclined position. The board features high clock frequencies, are well 950 MHz on the core, 1900MHz on the shaders and 1002MHz (4008MHz effective) for the memories, the whole is supported by 1GB of GDDR5 memory type, with a 256-bit bus and over a bandwidth of 128GB / s. As usual, Gigabyte implements some features in its products as unique Ultra Durable VGA + PBC, GPU and memory chips selected, Japanese solid state capacitors and MOSFETs with low RDS. The board is powered by two 6-pin connectors while for the video outputs are 2 DVI and mini-HDMI output. Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 though it costly but uses the ATI Radeon HD 7850 GPU. Built on the "Pitcairn Pro" GPU chip the upper middle class with AMD's new GCN Architecture (graphics core next) has over 1024 shaders and 64 texture units and 32 raster and is clocked at 860 MHz. The 2 GB of GDDR5 memory is connected via a 256-bit interface to the GPU and works with 1200 MHz (4800 MHz effective data rate). The Radeon HD 7850 supports both DirectX 11.1 and OpenGL 4.2 also AMD Avivo HD video, AMD Stream (support for OpenCL 1.0 and Direct Compute 11), CrossFire, the multi-display technology, AMD Eyefinity and AMD HD3D for 3D games and movies at appropriate monitors.

Re: Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked or Sapphire Radeon HD 7850

The new GeForce GTX 560 Ti is obviously a good deal of room for when it comes to clock speed. Even as a reference model quite attractive, are now coming from the factory overclocked cards of the board partners to market and show what can be achieved with the GF114 GPU. The advantage for the buyer The warranty is valid in spite of (factory) in its entirety for overclocking the card, the clock rates are guaranteed, and the charge for these models is only moderate. Gigabyte board is similar to the Asus model, and both bear not only the power connectors to put them but also use a power supply with seven phases. But there are also enough differences to see that this is a self-development.

Re: Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked or Sapphire Radeon HD 7850

Of course the Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked is good for the value but if you see the price difference between the both the card is just about $100 and there will be huge gap between the both card the fact that the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 can be easily reached the high clocks and higher FPS. The only benefit that I can see in the Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked is the bundled BF3 option that you will be getting . you should understand that the difference between the both is huge . it will be easy to answer this question if you provide me with the information on your Rig . but the GTX 560 is not to be compared with the Radeon HD 7850 . in the end I would like to suggest that Radeon HD 7850 will be the best option over the GTX 560 although the price comparison the best option is the Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked

Re: Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked or Sapphire Radeon HD 7850

The GeForce GTX 560 Super Overclock already at 90 MHz. This is not a very impressive value and therefore always a reason for us to continue this lends a hand. In looking at the map we have already referred to the changes in the PCB. Gigabyte has been particularly on the voltage and power is concentrated and we were so excited about the results of overclocking. Just as we wanted, wanted the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Super Overclock, however. With a GPU clock of 955 MHz for stable operation was concluded. The memory was working at 1100 MHz, but has little effect on performance. Overclocking an impact on power consumption, temperature and volume

Re: Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked or Sapphire Radeon HD 7850

the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Super Overclock is a good card in its class, no question. But we miss something special of Super Overlock a bit. So far, Gigabyte has almost always trumps with the highest clock speeds - the GeForce GTX 560 Super Overclock can not do this. 900 MHz, 90 MHz, although more than a reference card, but other manufacturers have already shown that there is a lot more in there. The performance moves due to the rather moderate overclocking on "Default level". The GPU clock is identical to the Palit GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum and so both are in the power and close together. The Zotac GeForce GTX 560 AMP! Edition, however, can settle a bit. Really liked , the cooling of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Super Overclock. It keeps the temperature at idle and low load operation and the same applies to the speeds of both fans. Especially in the last condition is very important because not everyone turns the volume of game sounds very high, or would like to hear the roar of the fan even through the headphones.

Positive aspects of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Super Overclock

    • low temperatures
    • low volume

Negative aspects of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Super Overclock:

    • Potential of the card is due to lower factory overclocking largely untapped
    • Layout bugs (on the fan connector)

Re: Gigabyte GTX 560 superclocked or Sapphire Radeon HD 7850

If price don’t matter to you then the best option for you will be the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 , this card is far more superior then the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 , the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 is much above the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560, no matter how high you will able to get the clocks on Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 it will be no match to the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850, so the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 will be the better option for now as well as for the future too and if you able to clock the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 properly then it can even match the performance of the gtx580, which was for few month ago was the best single GPU card out there
