Dell UltraSharp U2410 or Dell UltraSharp U2412M

I am willing to get a new monitor which I will be using for gaming and web usage, after going through a lot of choices I have chose Dell UltraSharp U2410 and Dell UltraSharp U2412M to be my option but then as one is lcd and the other is led I am not sure if it will be making any difference, so is there anyone who can help me in choosing the best one??

I have checked out for the same and this is what I think:
    • Dell UltraSharp U2412M- LED
    • Dell UltraSharp U2410-LCD

There will be negligible difference between them but then if you are a bit concerned about the power bill then you should go for Dell UltraSharp U2412M as it will be consuming less power else Dell UltraSharp U2410 seems to be a better choice for the uses that you have mentioned.

I have found that the Dell UltraSharp U2412M comes with LED backlight and has 6-bit e-IPS and is cheaper as compared to Dell UltraSharp U2410 but then it is having less connectivity, I mean that there is no HDMI as well as in-aspect 1080p, whereas on the other hand Dell UltraSharp U2410 comes with CCFL backlight and it has 8-bit H-IPS which will give you better image quality, it also comes up with better connectivity/ports but then it is expensive then U2412M, I think that getting U2412M will be a better choice.

    Here is what I think:
    • Dell UltraSharp U2412M- One can go for it as it is having e-ips panels which are better than tn panels.
    • Dell UltraSharp U2410- it will be a better option if you are getting with latest revision
    • DELL UltraSharp 2408WFP- I think that you should check it out as well, I think that is an old model but then the image quality of the same will be better as compared to U2410.

so just keep these things in my mind and chose the best one.

I think that Dell UltraSharpTM U2410 60.9cm (24)W Monitor will be a better choice as per the below specs:
    • 60.9cm (24) Display and 1920x1200 (max) WUXGA Resolution
    • 16:10 Wide Aspect Ratio
    • 6-Millisecond Response Time
    • 80,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
