Extending desktop with Nvidia Geforce 8400gs

    Hi, techarena
So...straight to the topic. I have two PCs. I want to use both screens in the new one, I have a geforce 8400 gs. I've bought a gadget with one VGA input and two outputs, both screens are VGA. The problem is that, when I connect the gadget and both screens to it, no screen gets video data, but if I connect simply one monitor directly to the graphics card, it does work, so...is there a way to fix this?

First lets check that your gpu supports both the monitors. For that connect each monitor one by one directly to the graphic card and see you can see the output or not. If yes then you need to get a good extender for the same. A extender means a dual monitor adapter which can help you to configure two monitor on the gpu and get a good graphic output. I think your existing adapter is not proper.
