what should be maximum VRM temp for AMD Radeon HD 7970?

What should be maximum VRM temp for AMD Radeon HD 7970? Well I have installed accelero xtreme 7970 cooler on this particular graphic card. also I am using 3M Thermally Conductive Tape 8815. All the above mentioned stuffs are giving great results. It is should complete couple of thermal cycles to work properly. tell me if you are having any useful information on the above mentioned topic.

As far as I know maximum temperature limit should be of 120. Also I don’t think so you will get any issue with the cooler which you are having with you. I found that VRM temperature would be iirc and it would hit around 70c by overclocking to 1260Mhz under having full load.

I have noticed maximum VRM temperature of 60c on the above mentioned graphic card while playing games like Crysis 2 and BF3. I also tried with Furmmark in order to check VRM temps and I got 115c. I was really surprised to see that there was difference of 50 degress between playing really high demanding game and application such as furmark.

Well in to the situation of mine I am running Unigine Heaven with max settings for couple of hours to see the temperature level. I got maximum temperature of 69'c. when I am playing video games on my system it does not getting hot at all. even video card of mine stressed to 100% at all.
