Getting warning pop ups with my GeForce GT 420M notebook while launching Battlefield 3

I have a notebook GT 420M in which I get a pop up message recommending a driver update. I have a driver 280.26 installed in my Pc. These pop up message comes occurs when I try to launch the battle field3 game. But when I use NVDIA smart scan tool in the nvdia.com then I get the message that it is the latest driver and you don’t need to update while checking in the nvdia I found that there is a new update i.e 285. Do I need to update the driver to launch this game?

I have searched the latest driver is the driver 285.62. For but I think k that the nvdia smart scan has not updated to the reflect the latest version of the driver yet i.e 285.62. These are the version that will work for launching the game battle field3. But there are many errors in these version drivers with Windows Media Center and Windows Live Movie Make.

I have used this version but there seems to be trouble with these. There is a known problem with Windows Media Center. There is also a problem with and Windows Live Movie Maker. So I suggest you to stay at that version and wait for the new version to arrive and then you can switch to the new version. Hope it will be great and launch the game battlefield 3.

There is the latest version that is the driver 295.73. As these are the latest one you can try this version of driver and see that you can launch the game battlefield 3. I have not tried it but you can find it in nvdia.com
