Activate Netflix on “Smart TV”

After going all through the information this year I have bought the Samsung PN59D8000 Plasma Smart TV. I have setup to Netflix to stream videos. The problem started during the Activation of the Netflix app. The Netflix was successfully activated but on TV it shows “this device cannot be activated”. The Netflix representative said the app is activated from. Then I call the Samsung representative and they said they will send in the technician for this issue. But till date no one has showed up.
Is there anybody who can help in sorting out this problem? Is it Smart TV problem?

I would suggest you to go with the TV reset option.
Switch “ON” your Plasma Smart TV.
Press the “EXIT” button and hold it for around 15 sec.
You will be prompted “RESET” on your TV
Press YES and Enter.
This will put the TV back into the Factory made condition. After that the Firmware reload option will come. After reloading the firmware launch the Netflix connecting through the internet. This will surely activate the Netflix and now you can stream your videos.

If the other apps are working on your Smart TV then the Netflix app must also work. Switch of the TV and reconnect all the wires and then check the Netflix app.

If, OpenDNS in your Smart TV is “ON”. It will affect your access to “Netflix”. Try to off it in your router and then again launch the Netflix. Hope this will sort out with your problem.

Check the Netflix app on another TV but with the same model. This will surely let you know whether the problem is with the TV or the App.
