How to determine PCI Express x16 lane graphics slot length?

I need to determine x16 lane on my motherboard and also want to get its details. SPecially length of this PCI Express x16 lane graphics slot. On which parameter its lenght is comes out?? inches, cm, or mm? I think to purchase a ati radeon hd 5850 GPU. Thus, is it comfortable with the slot or not? I need descriptions over this issue. Thanks for such help.

In this case, i would be say to you for check the motherboard specification in manual. Manual describe you more about this PCI Express x16 lane and it also describes number of pins presents on it.

As per my knowledge, ati radeon hd 5850 graphics card, able to connect on the x16 slot. I don't thing you got problem at the time of connections. Try it on your motherboard. You can easily connect this GPU without any problem. Follow proper instructions to do this task.
