Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 is freezing

As the title of this particular thread is saying what I wanted to ask over here. Well I am having Nvidia GTX 470 graphic card installed on my system. This particular graphic card is seems to be freezing when it is of under heavy load. I don’t know whether the above mentioned issue is happening because of the overheating or the drivers installed on the computer. any help to fix the matter will be highly appreciated. What is the hardware configuration of the computer?
Which version of the drivers do you have installed? Also tell me if you have done any changes on the computer.

There is need of set Vsync on the graphic card of yours.

• You should right click on the Desktop and click on Properties.
• Now you have to go for Settings and click on Advanced.
• After that you have to go for Open GL settings and go for Vertical Sync.
• Select the desire option and click on Apply button.

In this particular situation I recommend that you should get the TechPowerUp GPU-Z 5.0 utility and install the same on the computer. it will provide the information which regarding the temperature and performance of the graphic card which you have installed on the computer.

Looking at the matter I recommend that you will need to install the latest version of DirectX on the system. Also you should get the latest version of the graphic card drivers from the official website. You should download and install the same on the computer of yours. After installing the latest version of the graphic card drivers you should reboot the computer. if you are getting any issue while doing the above mentioned thing you can feel free to ask about the same.

If I am not wrong there could be an issue with the graphic card itself. So you should contact the technical support team and ask for the further assistance. If they are not able to resolve the issue than you should visit the official service center and claim for the service warranty.
