Need help!! To modify nvidia drivers in order to use it with VAIO

Hey I am looking forward to modify NVIDIA drivers in order to use it with the VAIO. I have an idea that I have to edit the nvszf.inf but then I am not very sure about it. I just want the modified driver to work well on a vaio machine and Allow auto dimming of the brightness as well. Is there anyone who has tried so and can help me out as well? Any help for the same will be appreciated.

Before I suggest you something I will like to know that which nvidia card you are having and also go in to the control panel> administrative tool>computer management>device manager and then in the left pane of the window just select the driver and then right click on it and then open the properties and then click on the hardware tab and then just copy the hardware ids in the below pane and then post the same here. Just provide me these details of your nvidia card that you are using for further help.

I have checked it out and I think that you can try out the below inf for the nvidia 266.58 64bit, just check it out and then let me know what you get.

I also wanted to know that is it required to add some additional thing in order to make it possible, I mean that I have heard so but then I am not very sure about the same. I will also like to share that I have tried some older drivers previously and I had installed them successfully as well and it was working fine with the vaio but then it was not able to auto-dim the brightness and that’s the thing I am looking for. Any further help for this will be appreciated.

Hey you can try out the below attachment, you can just get a 64-bit Nvidia verde notebook driver and then you can extract it using 7-zip. After that just copy the attachment in the "Display.Driver" folder in the extracted driver package. Just try to uninstall the previous diver and then just Custom Install" at the set up screen and after that check the option "Perform Clean install" as well. Just try it out and then let me know if it is helping you or not.
