Cannot play BF3 and MW3 with AMD Radeon HD 6950

In my computer I have AMD Radeon HD 6950 graphic card I have downloaded battlefield game and when I try to play this game at that time it starts for 2 to 5 minutes and after that I that it crashes or my computer shuts down. Now after that I have also installed the Call of duty MW 3and same problem occurs with that game also. I don’t know what is wrong but this problem is really frustrating for me.

As you have said that you are facing problem with both the game in your computer and I think you are experiencing this problem because you are running the game at high graphics and because of that you computer is not able to handle that. According to me to solve this problem you should first remove the PSU from your computer and after that you have to connect any other PSU with more power and then start the computer and after starting the computer you have to check whether you are able to play the game or not. if you are not facing the same problem with the game then problem is with your PSU and you need to change it.

Yes I will also suggest you the same because if you PSU is not providing enough power to your graphic card then I think that is the main reason why computer is giving problem during the game. I was also facing the same problem and after that I have first though that problem is occurring because of the graphic drivers and I have tried to solve this problem by reinstalling the graphic card drivers and updating it with no luck.

After that I have tried different PSU and at that time all the things worked fine. I think you should also try this solution.

I have changed the graphic setting and tried to play bit it didn’t make any difference and then I graphic drivers in my computer and after trying that also same problem is occurred again. Now I have downloaded the AMD Radeon HD 6950 graphic card drivers from its official site and after installing that all the things started working fine. now problem is when I play COD MW 3 at that time I didn’t face any problem but while playing BF3 it gets crashes some time with error.

What should I do to solve this issue?

The problem is with the BF3 game in your computer and you have to uninstall the BF3 game from your computer and then you have to install the game again after running the Ccleaner and after reinstalling the BF3 game in your computer when you play it at that time it will not crash. Try this solution and then let me know what the result is.

Reinstalling the BF 3 in my computer has done the trick. First I have removed the BF3 game in my computer and after that I have deleted all the temporary files from my computer and then I have installed the BF 3 game in my computer and after that my problem get solved. Thank you for helping me.
