Will 600W PSU work with Radeon HD 6950?

I am thinking to get the Radeon HD 6950. I am in very good prospect to buy this at very cheap price. Below is the set up for the PC that I am using.
    • Intel Core i3 540
    • Intel DH55TC Mobo
    • WD 1TB HDD
    • 1 Kingston DDR3 4GB RAM (I'm getting another one, so they'll soon be 8GB)
    • 600W PSU

I am just wondering that if the 600W PSU will let me to be on safe side. I am asking this particularly because I need to make use of the adapter. Should I replace my current CPU with some new one or this will be OK for me. Please reply. I will be thankful to all the replies.

Hello mate, I really do not think that this is gonna be a good PSU for you. My recommendation to you is to buy this from some reputable brands like Corsair, Enermax, Antec etc. If you will use your existing 600W PSU then it might create problem for you when there is load on the card and PSU will not able to provide sufficient power to that.

The DirectX 11 graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6950, like the HD 6970 makes backup BIOS on the motherboard, video card tune with the most simple. In the case of the HD 6950 you can even download the bios the HD 6970, bringing the card from 1408 to 1536 shader units and achieve nearly the same performance as with the more expensive HD 6970th Is sold, the Radeon HD 6950 with both 1.0 and with 2.0 GB of RAM. The larger version is worth Exterm primarily in high resolutions, such as when multi-screen technology on AMD's Eyefinity still want to play on three or more monitor (maximum possible with a card five monitors).

The new GeForce GTX 560 Ti for about $315 has closed this gap. In direct response to AMD lowered prices for the Radeon HD 6950 with 2.0 GB of 260 to $330 and now presented with the 1.0-gigabyte version of the HD 6950 an even cheaper model ($300). The price is also lowered in the Radeon HD 6870 (now 190 €) is the HD 6950 priced hot on their heels. We review the trial on the basis of game benchmarks as well as volume and power consumption measurements, which version of the HD 6950 offers the most for your money.

Basically, the Radeon HD 6950 is based on the same "Cayman" graphics chip as the Radeon HD 6970 and has either thick or 2.0 GB, more recently, only about 1.0 GB of GDDR5 video memory. The 2.0 GB video memory brings mainly playing on multiple screens at the same advantages (see "Infinity" test) with a monitor the amount of memory even in extreme resolutions and image quality settings.
