Which graphics card is better ATI Radeon 6670 Or NVIDIA Geforce Gts450?

Hey guys I am planning to buy a new Graphics card for myself. I am running Windows XP Operating system in my computer. So I have got two particular Graphics card in my mind. I am looking forward to purchase either ATI radeon 6670 or the Nvidia Geforce Gts450. The ATI Radeon had got 480 shader cores with 1GB DDR5,128bit interface memory whereas the Nvidia Geforce Gts450 has 192 shader cores,1GB DDR5,128 bit interface memory. I am confused. Please help me guys.

It's basically deal with your like and about and what features you want ,I would like to tell you about me lets see if this helps you out I went from a 5850 to a GTX 270, which ended up taking the 570 back a day after a 6970. I guess ATI just grew on me. And I have the intention of crossfire in the future and my motherboard only supports crossfire not SLI so, if you have plans like that, well, that's always something the output. if you are going to be playing games PhysX, then Nvidia is the solid choice, but in my opinion are more expensive for the same performance. Just do some research on the cards and benchmarks.

Hello friend I would like to tell you about my personal experience about this I think this would really help you out in selecting which one to go with ok as the geforce GTS 450 is much more power hungry than the HD 6670, but is much faster, although the Radeon HD 5770 is faster than the Geforce GTS 450 and consumes less energy, it is usually cheaper would tell you it would be better if you go with Radeon 6670 and it has got a nice review also it has been well known for the low power consumption which is really important factor in this selection.

Hey friend I have a very different view over this I don't know which one to actually suggest you as I don't know what are the specifications you are looking at but I can tell you that geforce gts 450 is not a good choice to go with better then that is geforce Gts 250 it would easily outperform gts 450 most of the time and Radeon 6670 would be a slower than the GTS 450 so I would be suggesting you to go with the Geforce gts 250 I hope this would suit your requirement and you like this one.

Friend this GeForce GTS 450 normally has a top speed of 783 MHz core GPU and 512 MB of RAM running at 902 MHz GDDR5 through a 128-bit bus. It also has 192 stream processors, 32 texture units and ROPs Address 16. Comparing the Radeon HD 6670 OEM, offering speeds of 800 MHz core and 1000 MHz GPU 512 MB GDDR5 RAM. SPU has 480 along with 24 ROPs and TAUS 8.I think you should be selecting the Radeon HD 6670 OEM this would be a good choice then the other one and I am sure you would like it.

It is unfair to compare both the Graphics card on the basis of their specifications. But I must say that both of them are pretty hot choices for a $100 video card. Rather than the specification of the video card, other factors which also plays an important role are the brand of the product, the capacity to perform overclocking, the cost of the product and many more. But if you ask me personally, then I would have definitely opted for the GTS 450 video card. It has got every feature which I can expect in that price range of product.
