Will Dx10 graphic card support Dx11 games in Windows 7?

I'm buying Sapphire HD 5670 only because it fits my budget and is compatible with DX11 games. If Windows 7 is well-suited with DX11 then I can get a DX10 graphics card HD 4770/4830/4850 say and still be capable to play the game supports DX11 technology. I prefer HD 4770/4830/4850 simple because it is better 5670. I can use a monitor @ 1080 and the desire to play in that resolution, but my 8400GS unbearable. Need suggestions for this.

Hey buddy I don’t have much idea about this but I think DX11 card is not much of some big deal. Well you can try using this and experience it if your friend or neighbor has the same card. As per my knowledge DX9 cards support the games. Well you can try this out first and look what happens. I hope the games really work and do reply if works. All the best and I hope I am able to solve your problem.

The reason is that I use XP 64 bit and what to buy a graphics card so you can play at 1920x1080 resolutions. As I'm on a tight budget ATI HD5670 allow an intermediate position, but better than the HD4850 HD5670, but it supports DX10. I do not want to bring my pc to update during the next 3 to 4 years. So I will go for 4850, then it is much better. It is compatible with DX10. You need not DX11.

Well I don’t think so that you want to spend more money after a year. Of course you would like to keep this at least for 3 - 4 years and later on you must be able to add HD4850 of that SLRI/crossfire and also could you suggest suitable PSU of dimensions h-6cm x w-13cm x l-15cm because I don’t have any idea regarding this. I hope I am able to help you also please post any information you have.

As you know that the size of PSU is universal. It may be ATX, mATX or can be ITZ. Also ATX as well as mATX will fit if you have a standardized size case. Also you must never worry about the new direct just look at it. You know that Black ops still support DX9 cards. It will basically take them many years to catch up to DX11. But still you can wait for DX11 if you want or continue with DX10 as you wish.

My cabinet is 306 with a baby iBall LPE223-400 power supply. I would not buy anything less than a 5770/GTX460 to play now. Especially as you said you want this to last. Also the difference between a HD5770 and HD5770 XFX is the cooler. Single slot cooler versus dual-slot cooler. The dual slot cooler, running at lower temperatures, giving more room for organized and increasing performance. The single will run much hotter. There is no reason to buy the single slot unless you have not, and cannot do, a gap below its PCI-e slot.
