    Re: Glide2x.dll Not Found Error

The feasibility of the iterative code outside of an executable program has interested programmers long ago. If the elements of the libraries are previously loaded into the execution stage of the program, libraries are able to simply be kept on the hard drive, they wait for the moment of their execution. Even if the printer is connected, DLL that contains the driver will not be executed until the text will be printed. The program can use the dynamic libraries glide2x.dll without using unnecessary RAM, loading these libraries in the order of play when he needs them. According to tradition, most libraries used as glide2x.dll is placed in the directory "system32" in "Windows" while more rarely necessary for some specific programs. Here it seems like you need to get the 3DFX card.

If like me you had this problem of missing dll file in Win XP SP3 with latest nvidia card here is the solution, you should download this file Glidos_v1_44.exe then install or extract, afterwords it must retrieve the file glide2x.dll in one glidos directories and copy it to the directory where there is the kingpin file kingpin.exe kingpin should normally start well, the only problem is do can not exceed the resolution of 1024x768, if the returns exceed the game in 640x480 mode and opengl does not work, only the mode 3dfx works good but maybe it comes from my pc, at least now the game starts and work. Of all the dlls glide2x I download on the net and tried only version of glidos starts the game Good game!
