I just came across one magazine where I have seen one monitor. Actually even I was thinking about buying a new monitor these days for my desktop machine and since I have seen the new ASUS Designo ML series of monitors, I am looking forward to buy it. I want to buy a ASUS Designo ML229H which seems to be good. Can you guys tell me that how much it would be costing to buy this tv in India? And what is so new about this series?

Asus has unveiled three new screens in its range Designo. The ML229H/239H/249H are offering solutions display surfaces respectively of 21.5, 23 and 24 inches. The ML249H has a MVA panel offering a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a response time of 8 milliseconds and a contrast ratio of 3,000:1 (50,000 dynamic 000:1). The ML229H/239H have them on IPS panels, offering a response time of 5 ms. All three monitors feature a backlit LED display and a maximum brightness of 250 cd / m². Their viewing angles are very open 178 degrees on all axes.

The presence of an "Eco-Mode" allows them to reduce their consumption, up to 39 watts for ML249H, 40 watts to 37 watts and ML239H for ML229H.
