Help in selecting graphic card and motherboard

Guys ,I am planning to buy a HD 5670
Shall I buy from Sapphire or some other brand?
I have Core 2 duo processor and a DDR2 Ram and a i945g motherboard which has a PCI X16 slot(1.0)
I need to change my motherboad to one which has a PCI X16(2.0) and with DDR 3 ram and it should support a core 2 duo processor
My monitor has a VGA port only
Shall I get a HD 5670 with a VGA port or one with a DVi port and use an adapter to convert it to VGA?

I would recommend you to get the Asus P7H55 Motherboard which will cost you 5,700.00 only and this board supports DDR3 ram and also has 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. But if you are buying a DDR3 mobo then you will also need to buy another CPU as it only supports Core™ i7 Processor, Core™ i5 Processor, and Core™ i3 Processor, because the Socket type of this mobo is Intel Socket 1156. Also you can use an adapter to convert DVI to VGA quite easily for monitor support.

Thanks but I don't have a very big budget and I hope to keep it within 10000 ,so I can't afford to change my processor.are there any other good motherboards which can support a core 2 duo along with the gpu and ram

What do you guys think about these boards?
Are they any good?
