I am advising you to go with the Ati 5870 which is cheaper then the Ati 6870 and having nice performance over system. The ATI Eyefinity technology maximizes your field of work for up to three monitors and uses as well as your peripheral perception. As a player, you are therefore in the event and for other applications in the middle it helps to increase productivity by the visual work area is maximized and at the same time you can see several windows. ATI Eyefinity is also ideal for multimedia applications because it is now possible to have multiple tool palettes open and a large work area for pictures or videos to still have. Sapphire's Vapor-X cooling innovative solution makes our products not only cool, but also quieter. A Vapor-X product thus ensuring an undisturbed gaming experience and more flexibility when overclocking!

Re: Ati 5870 Vs Ati 6870

Based on the specifications and prices is already clear where Radeon HD 6850 and 6870 sort. Man, this should not be alone in making the number of shader units and stream processors, because the higher clock speeds and the optimized architecture of the 'Barts' graphics chips will place the new graphics card just behind each Radeon HD 5850 and 5870th. According to AMD was the objective in the development of the Radeon HD 6800 series and the corresponding graphics chip (code name: 'Bart's'), the performance of the 5800 series at a lower price to achieve. This should provide the 6800er the best ratio of performance per watt and per-mm die area. The 'beard' graphics chip is then made with 21% fewer transistors and is 255 mm with about 24% smaller than the Cypress chip graphics of the Radeon HD 5800er. In addition, the nominal maximum power consumption of 6870 is as high as in the 5850 - with higher performance - and 20% lower than in the 5870th The 6850 has, however under load, a 16% lower power consumption than the 5850th.

The potential of thisAti 5870 is very interesting knowing that the pilots are in their first version. The coming months will get their usual batch of optimizations and varied, which should widen the gap between new and old graphics card brand. Compared to NVIDIA, the least we can say is that ATI is taking the first step of the podium in single-GPU card (= a single chip). The GeForce GTX 285 is so far behind. My suggestion is to go with the Ati 5870. If you like can go with the same.

The ATi 5850 and 5870 inaugurated the 5800 Series. The two new models, we can find in stores in the coming days, bringing the features we expected: the two main ones are the jump at 40 nanometers and compatibility with DirectX 11. Besides this will also bring new technologies such as ATi EyeFinity and remarkable improvements in performance and power, becoming the most powerful graphics market in terms of operations per second is: up to 2.7 TFLOPS, according to ATi.

Re: Ati 5870 Vs Ati 6870

We focus on the ATi 6870, although it is not the only one present initially. The last thing we know is that mounted the GPU 'Barts XT' at 850 MHz, GDDR5 memory and a rate of about 2880 GFLOPS. The image that we leave then is that, as rumored, will be the bulk card with the manufacturer's design. As you know, then each manufacturer will choose the sink and the fans as he thinks appropriate, although it is quite feasible to keep the amazing five video outputs, two DVI, two mini DisplayPort and HDMI. Now it seems that may not be used all at once, but have a limit. We'll forget to connect five displays simultaneously.
