ATI Mobility radeon 6370 vs NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M

I wanted to Know What Is The best graphics card for a laptop. NVIDIA GeForce 360M GT With Dedicated Video Memory or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650, With 1024 MB Dedicated video memory. Please help me to get one for me. Here i am confused between the two which i have mentioned above. It would be better if you can suggest me a suitable one. Moreover if you know a better one than the two then please suggest

First, wringing the blow to the belief on the memory. Unlike memory does not matter, these cards can not operate more than 512. The speed and performance is completely based on the amount of memory to choose 1GB of memory are used on the most powerful graphics cards like the GTX 280M, or Mobility 4870, especially in high resolution (1920 x 1200) filtering enabled. Then I think these two graphics cards are very close to each other. Due to the small number of shaders 6370M for the player is hardly advisable. Current and most demanding games run smoothly only in lowest level of detail. Less demanding games like Fifa 11, or Left 4 Dead should be playable at medium detail settings.

Re: ATI Mobility radeon 6370 vs NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M

The Nvidia GeForce GTS 360M is a graphic map of the upper middle class of notebooks. Technically it is a GeForce GTS 260M but with slightly higher clock speeds (412 versus 396 gigaflops of power, according to Nvidia website). The shaders are clocked bit slower (factor 2.3). The memory clock of the GTS 360M is dependent on the type of memory and affects the performance significantly. If faster GDDR5 memory is used up to 2000 MHz can be achieved (first notebooks with GTS 250M GDDR5, however, had only 1600 MHz). DDR3 at the other end of the power spectrum only clocked at 790 MHz and thus slows the GTS 360M clear.

Re: ATI Mobility radeon 6370 vs NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M

My laptops graphics are working pretty well and personally I did run games like farcry2, pure and Call of Duty World at War the ranking of the other is not good the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3850 is already a very good option. The power consumption of HD6370M should be between 8-15W TDP and will therefore remain for smaller notebooks (13-14) suitable. Some of its features are given below :

    • Pipelines - 80 - unified
    • Core Speed - 750 MHz
    • Shader Speed - 750 MHz
    • Memory Speed - 800 MHz
    • Memory Bandwidth - 64 Bit
    • Memory Type - DDR3
    • Max memory size - 1024 MB
    • Shared Memory - no
    • DirectX - DirectX 11, Shader 5.0
    • Manufacturing process - 40 nm

Re: ATI Mobility radeon 6370 vs NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M

The GeForce GT360M supports video decoding in graphics chip (PureVideo HD with VP4) for less CPU load for HD decoding. The built-in video processor 4 (VP4) supports the complete decoding of H.264, VC-1, MPEG-2, and now MPEG-4 ASP (DivX or XviD). Only MPEG-1 is not supported (but the decoding complexity is minimal). As with the old 9800 GT in 1996 by so-called stream processors, the graphic work (which used the pixel and vertex shaders). The advantage is that there are no idle ALUs anymore. The stream processors at NVIDIA are 1-dimensional (1D) and can be a scalar per clock with a MADD (addition and multiplication) and MUL Statement (multiplication) . In addition, NVIDIA overclocked the shader ALUs is higher than the rest of the chip (1325 versus 575 MHz).

Re: ATI Mobility radeon 6370 vs NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M

Modern and demanding DirectX 10 games (like Crysis) run on the GTS 360M in connection with GDDR5 graphics memory with high settings at medium resolutions almost liquid. Less demanding games should run smoothly at high resolutions with maximum detail. Possibly limited the 128 bit memory bus, the performance at higher resolutions / antialiasing settings. Detailed Games Benchmarks can be found below.

    • Code Name - N11E-GS1
    • Pipelines - 96 - unified
    • Core Speed - 575 MHz
    • Shader Speed - 1325 MHz
    • Memory Speed - 1800 MHz
    • Memory Bandwidth - 128 bits
    • Memory Type - DDR3, GDDR3, GDDR5
    • Max memory size - 1024 MB
    • Shared Memory - no
    • DirectX - DirectX 10.1, Shader 4.1
    • Transistors - 727 million
    • Manufacturing process - 40 nm
    • Features - DirectX Compute Support (Windows 7), CUDA, OpenCL, hybrid power, PhysX, SLI, PowerMizer 8.0, 3.0 Type-B MXM
    • Notebook Size - large (17 "for example).
