Nvidia GeForce GT 420M vs ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

I planing to buy a new laptop for playing video game. And I am looking for one that can provide me a good graphic card output. I am able to find two gpu that can be good for laptop gaming. They are Nvidia GeForce GT 420M and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650. I am quiet confused which graphic card will be great here. I am talking about playing all latest games on the same. I had tried looking around for a comparison. Both looks exactly the same. But the laptop with amd is cheaper compare to the Nvidia one. I want to know that which one will be best to play games on dual monitor. I am gong to connect a big size monitor on the laptop to play games.

Both of this cards falls exactly at the same range when it comes to performance. There can be a bit different. AMD is around 5 to 8% stronger in terms of processing compare to Nvidia. Otherwise most of the things are common here. And if you are trying to find a new laptop try to find something that has the late Intel Core i7 processor. So that you wont get any limitation in the processing. Even if the laptop has a Nvidia gpu in it. You have to get a latest cpu with good amount of ram. So that the games can perform really well.

Nvidia GeForce GT 420M and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 are both exactly same kind of cards. ATI has a bit more processing that's it. But I think that compare to ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650, Nvidia GeForce GT 420M is more stable. It is right that you have to simply check out the hardware with that also. In gaming it happens a number of time the due to low processing the games lags a lot. Try to get good pack of ram also. Atleast 6GB or higher which will help a lot.
