Ohh, I am so lucky that i have got the ready made thread about having 3 screen display with an ATI Radeon HD 5450 card. I can manage to get the DP to DVI cable but just tell me how should use them and what kind of setup has to be done? Unfortunately i cam e bit earlier on this thread and i have not got any replies but never mind, I am hoping that will get replies soon.

As a reminder, Eyefinity is primarily a software solution that allows those who have a Radeon HD 5k create a virtual screen based on several physical screens. The extension application is then simplified, allowing them to play or work on 2 or 3 screens so easy. For the true specificity of the Radeon HD 5k is to allow control of three screens. A point which had obviously been put forward by AMD at the announcement of the HD 5450.

Re: 3 Monitors Display on 64 bit Win 7 with Radeon HD 5450

it is imperative to have at least one screen with a display type output port, or adapter asset which costs approximately € 80 in, which was confirmed by AMD this morning. And in the case of the Radeon HD 5450, this poses a real concern since nearly all of the model provides three outputs which is DVI, HDMI and VGA.
So it is impossible to fully exploit Eyefinity, except when using an adapter active, which is more expensive than the card.

We hope with PowerColor, which announced models "Eyefinity Edition" that have many ports RFP for a few euros more. Unfortunately, it comes with an HDMI port and a port VGA. If Eyefinity can actually be used, it must have a screen connected via VGA next to our two screens operating a digital port, which is rather unfortunate.

I have gone through the specifications of an ATI Radeon HD 5450 and have found that this card is able to support for the 3 monitor display at a time so there must be some way by which you can do that.
I recommend you to check for doing the 3 monitor display setup on the manual and follow an instructions as per the manuals.

Yes of course, It would be possible but from my point of view, Nobody would be able to suggest you the perfect setup on your computer system to get the 3 monitors display. Maximum, Somebody can only suggest you to use the different kind of cables but i think it might be waste your money if you buy it without confirming it. Best way to make it working is to call an engineer which would be knowing about all the settings about the monitors.
