You can go with Palit GeForce 9600 Smart 1GB which you can get around 5600/-. It provides extra memory buffer, allows users to escape from memory capacity bottleneck no matter for gaming or home entertaining. Further equipped with 256bit DDR2 memory interface, provides faster data transfer rate and still remains in a great price / performance ratio.

Or you can try SAPPHIRE HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 AGP that is available around 5850/-. Built upon the award winning Radeon HD 3850 core, the SAPPHIRE 3850 offers a comprehensive feature-set that eclipses previous and current mainstream offerings. Unleash the enthusiast inside you with support for advanced technologies such as DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4 support, integrated HDCP support for Blu-ray/HD DVD decoding and for extreme enthusiast, Jam a SAPPHIRE HD 3850 into your rig and still have some coin left over to buy that title you have been waiting for!

the memory for graphic card don't need any slots on the MOBO so dun worry about that dd3 3 means more bus speed means better performance basically good graphics for mid or higher mid level games

    Re: graphics card

there are many things u need to look at:
if u are playing a HD video which is graphic intensive in vista then u need a card
but if ur processor is not fast enough or ram is not enough then it may be a source of problem as well
but if video is the only problem then a Graphic card can take care of the slow performance, but others non-graphical applications may slow the pc most common would be security ones
and also running a check or scan with a good antivirus and antispyware would help, as they consume a lot of resources in the system and keep enough disk space it should be ok

all in all add-on graphic would never harm u and would always be helpfull
