Samsung 2494SW Black 24 Monitor Screen resolution

Hi,
I want to buy a Samsung 24" monitor. The model number of the same is 2494SW Black. It is a 24" wide screen monitor. My primary need is gaming to run the system on it. I have all other hardware's likes a 1GB of Graphic support with 4 Gigs of RAM and a Quad core processor. So this looks enough for me to use it. I am looking for some performance issue of this monitor. Thanks in advance.

The only problem I feel with large LCD displays is that if I have a old movie or game then the screen tries to stretch the screen above normal. This makes the game or movie very blurry. But as compare to them today's games and other movies are built with HD content. So this types of wide screen monitor suites them the best.
