My PC specs are Intel core2 duo E7200, 2.53 Ghz with 1.99 GB RAM, Altec lansing 2.1 channel speaker.
What would be the best BUDGET graphics card to buy so as to be able to play all the recent games and games coming out within the next 2 years.

Hi friend,
I think "ATI Radeon HD 3800" is the best graphic card for your system. This graphics card is compatible for HD gaming as well as for incredible performance. It has PCI Express 2.0 support. It displays high quality of image (1080p to 2560x1600). This graphics card has excellent power saving features. This feature is used to reduce consumption of power when CPU make idle.
i would recommend ATI's Radeon4870 or Nvidia's GTX 260 cards...both are great bang for bucks(around 10,000/-)..and you would be able to play all the games() easily..with all eye candy enabled (anti-aliasing, anistropic filtering, etc)
I have a ZOTAC GTX 260.and can play the two most taxing games at present - 'Crysis Warhead' and 'STALKER Clear Sky' without much issues.
but make sure you have at least 2 GB of RAM and at least 500 W PSU...
You should go for "GeForce GTX 260" Graphics Card, see following it's features:
- This video card designed with "NVIDIA PhysX technology".
- It enables more dynamic physical gaming interaction.
- It delivers smooth video, accurate color, great picture clarity.
- It consumes very low PC power.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. My MB is Gigabyte Quad6 series S. Are the ATI's Radeon4870 or Nvidia's GTX 260 cards compatible with the same and what are their respective costs. Also how is NVidia 9600 card as compared to the previous 2. Thanks again.
I think that ATI's Radeon4870 is compatible with the Gigabyte Quad6 series S but am sure about Nvidia's GTX 260 cards. The only thing that you will have to upgrade your PSU, since the Graphic card consumes more power. Which PSU you are having .??
