    Choosing a HDMI device

How to choose an HD display. What are the sizes, frequencies Refreshments, the ideal sound systems. Where can I get a good comparison information on different types of HDMI devices. There are many available right now but which best suitable for gaming. I have seen some very costly and high quality rendering devices. But that does not satisfy the needs.
