GTX 295 or wait for DirectX11 card

I am currently building a new PC

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-DU5
CPU: Core i7 975 Extreme Edition
    Fan: Noctua 12P
    RAM: 12 GB Corsair XMS3 1600Mhz
    PSU: Corsair 850Watts

Previously it seems quite but for the video card, I'll put an old 8500 GT because I hesitate if it still can give a better performance. I would therefore like to have your advice!

I'm either thinking of a GTX295, but what about the DirectX11, will it change much? Is that future games running DX11 will not be a problem, I think not, it's just that I could not access these new textures. I doubt that it's not the GTX 295 will make me row.

So my dilemma: GTX295 or the new ATI DX11 (5870 ... between the midrange and high end)

OR wait for the Nvidia based series of 300 ... under DX11 ...

    What do you think?

Get an Ati HD5870 DX11 just to start your computer. Then get the Crossfire, when you need it. (more new games ... so greedy or high resolution HD)

Otherwise, you will be going to play in what resolution? Because you do not inform us on your screen and its native resolution ...

Want to make 3Dvision? ==> Cuda ==> Nvidia.

It is certain that an Intel Core i7 720 rev D0 should overclock well. Then, simply put 3x2GB RAM in the config, it is enough and might be more stable. (less sticks = fewer worries))

This is already coming to save the price of an ATI CrossFire HD 5870 or the equivalent of the future Nvidia GTX380.

    Thank you for the advice!

It is true that the 5870 looks quite good and apparently the crossfire is better than the GTX295. So for now I'm on a 22 inch screen, but it would be to switch to a TV screen of 32-inch.

The size of the TV doesn't matter but what affects the performance is the resolution that is surely important to 1920 * 1200 or 1920 * 1080

The 5870 gives a real advantage and consume less resources and also you'll have no problems related to multi GPU

Please note that if you want to really save money then get Core i7 920 or 950.
