Inspiron 6000 Screen Goes Blank

This morning my inspiron 6000 screen goes away as i open and every thing was fine till the windows xp logo after that there were no Desktop a blank screen i waited for like 5 min but no action i restart it but the same thing . Tried downloading and installing latest drivers. Did not work.Tried uninstalling the driver. same issue please tell me what to do .

Verify if the LCD issue is related to software or hardware there are a few quick things we can do.

First you need to verify that the LCD issue is related to software or hardware you do these following thing to find . First you should see that the LCD display functions properly ,, like the basics function , for that go to the bios system and press F2 to powering up the monitor . They leave the pc in the BIOS for 10 min , and see if it go black or it is discolor .

The second thing you should is to power up the system into safe mode . Now you need to press F8 key after the computer starts , then put it in safe mode from the boot menu option . In the safe mode you should do some basic tasks to just allow the computer to function in safe mode and see if you are getting any trouble in LCD diplay

If both are fine then it should be any software issue. and if the problem comes then the LCD inverter could be the issue or the entire LCD itself.

It should be the graphic card . there should be a external software loading and the safe mode could not load it. I would go to my graphics card manufacturers site, and attempt to load an updated driver from safe mode.
