Need Monitor with 1900x1200 Resolution

Hi,
I want to know which is best resolution for a monitor. I am going to get a new monitor for my Xbox. As it is a one time investment so I need a best gaming monitor. According to you guys whoever is using currently what are features needed in a gaming monitor. I think 1900x1200 resolution will be great. A HD wide screen will give a great experience.
