Nvidia GeForce 7800gtx vs 9600gt

I want to buy a not so high end graphics card, I am confused with these two cards : Nvidia GeForce 7800gtx vs 9600gt Which one should i buy? Can anyone help me select a better card? I will be playing a lot games and i need this to be a good gaming card. Help guys! Confused
