LED or LCD screen

I use a TV screen full HD 100 Hz to 32 or 37 inch screen as the PC via HDMI port. Is it better to choose a screen that is LED or LCD ? The question will soon arise out of the new range of TV screens samsung. One more thing the plasma screens are yet another technology?

Hey LED & CCFL are the option for LCDs
But in my opinion LED is better than CCFL Since I have noticed that LED-backlight screens use less power & expands the battery life & they are brighter than CCFL screens, Again they don't take time to worm up which is quite normal in CCFL technology LCDs (5-10mins) to reach full brightness.
