HDMI output does not fill the TV screen

I have a computer with HD 4850 graphics card. I have a HDTV and i have cloned the monitor and TV display. The resolution is 1920x1080 with 60Hz refresh rate. The monitor displays properly. But the HDMI does not fill the TV screen fully. I have borders of about half a cm from top and bottm. While the border from sides is a little greater. The border catches the eye and distracts the view. If i zoom the display from TV remote, it cuts from top and bottom but sides remain as it is. Any help?

Re: HDMI output does not fill the TV screen

First, check if you have the latest Catalyst drivers. If everything is fine then, no problem, but if still the same problem occurs, check if the HDMI cable is not damaged and doen't need replacement. Also see if your HDMI TV is detected properly. It should be detected as HDTV and not just TV. Follow these steps and your problem will be solved...
