Graphic card issue with Radeon X2300

I have recently install Windows 7 as my Operating system on my Toshiba laptop and my contrast is set to very high ,i am facing this issue from when i have installed Directx on my laptop and my laptop is having ATI mobility Radeon X2300 as my graphic Card. Can anyone help me out with this issue.

Can you tell me which version of ATI Radeon X2300 drivers are you using it and at the same time also right click on the your Desktop and check it is your screen resolution should not be set to 16 bit because it might happen that if you are using 16 bit as your resolution then there would be some contrast issue on your laptop.

I am using 8.372.0.0 driver for my Radeon X2300 and at the same time i have also try to upgrade my RAM to 2GB but still facing same issue.

Try to download the latest ATI driver from the manufacturer site and install Directx 9.0 if your are using Directx 10, i hope this should solve your problem.
