How to flash 9800XT Bios

hi,
i have ATI Radeon 9800 XT 512mb,which works fine and I have heard that ATI Radeon 9800 XT users are flashing there ATI Radeon 9800 XT bios with the 9800 pro bios.What exactly does Flashing a Bios do? is there any guide available which give some good idaes about how to flash bios?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Sapphire branded cards are, as the expression goes, "eminently flexible",whereas Asus are not quite so, comparatively.There is nothing difficult about flashing 9800 pro to XT to 9800 pro if you do it correctly. I have done it a dozen times experimenting with different benchmark programs and BIOS's and never have a single problem so far. You can't make a Pro into an XT. The XT has a different chip made by a different manufacturing process.

video bios is nothing but Operating system like Windows vista and xp,which initializes the card.As soon as the motherboard receives power the bios for graphics card is activated.memory clock speeds and graphic processor are also set by the bios when it get activate.In short, the video BIOS starts and identifies the card, and provides its initial crop of settings.
