Black squares on the screen display

I was making some arrangement for adjusting my machine into the new computer table and unfortunately my LCD monitor fell from it. It was not much height and the monitor was still working. But after some time now, it is showing a black square in the middle of the screen. What can this be! can it be repaired or is there any simple trick to remove it. Or is my monitor damaged now? Please dont say this

Had the same problem only that it appeared on the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Go to the menu and use the image cleaner option and Reset all settings. This may solve the problem.

If the display problem is not corrected by a re-boot, chances are your display has got damaged.
Have you tested your screen on different computer? The black spot remains continuously or it appears and disappears frequently?

Ok so that fixed one problem but now it seems that I am having a very noticeable performance drop. While playing some games, it seems choppy when move or look around. Is there any way to fix this?

Some pixels might have damaged when the monitor fell. If the LCD is still under warranty contact the place you bought it and find out how many dead pixels you have to have before they'll replace the monitor usually its from 3 - 6. Otherwise clean your screen and live with it.
