Define resolution for different games and applications

Hello, I have a Ati Radeon graphics card 4870. I configured resolutions color, brightness and so on ....according to my desktop screen and Based on settings test images. But what I use in navigation for everytime is not at all suited when I start to play any games. Everything is too bright and dark, contrasts are also ver poor. Also if I set up according to my game, then it becomes unbearable for the eyes in navigation ... Is there a way to have several types of configuration depending on the program used? if so how does it work? thank you

Catalyst Control Center => Profiles
Set each profile for every type of games that you play, and it will be auto-configured when you will launch a game.

You can also change in .exe of any game? I have seen some people tweaking the .ini file of the game or some type of notepad where the resolution is changed to support widescreens. You can also go to the widescreen forum which might help you or can refer to this List of games with widescreen support .
