I am wishing to change my current Radeon HD 3650 with a Geforce 9800GTX, I am inquiring everywhere on internet but not really find an answer to my question:

I would like to know if it is possible to install a graphics card Point of View Geforce 9800GTX on a motherboard Gigabyte e7aum-ds2h, I ask this because the sata ports are located behind the PCI Express x16 and I fear that given the huge size of the card port is hidden and therefore unusable ...

For sata ports I have seen images of the graphics card just stick it completely sata ports and make them unusable. I hesitate for the time between the geforce 9800gtx and gts 250 geforce had no great difference in price, because I want a good sound card for games not in super high resolutions (1280x1024) but with a good flow on recent games (like crysis and farcry2)

If you can wait a few days, the HD4770 might suit you. It should be in the same that the HD4830 price level but a little more powerful, at least enough for 1280 * 1024. Otherwise, you can take a HD4850 Vapor-X
