GeForce 8800 GTS yellow tinge

hi,
After upgrading my graphics card from GeForce GTX 260 to GeForce 8800,my computer screen turned yellow ... there is no white left, everything has a yellow tinge to it. When the desktop appears, EVERYTHING YELLOW!Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

Have you recently disconnected / reconnected the cable?

A bent pin in the VGA cable can cause this.

Also, you monitor could be going bad or your color settings may have been changed.

(RGB have its own lines and circuits. It should be Blue.)

It may be caused by broken lines, but if circuits are broken, you'd better buy a new one.

The yellow tinge that I had was caused by the monitor plug being too heavy for the video card output connector, some of the pins did not seem to make or if they did make they seemed to unmake .

Getting a monitor with a lighter weight cord and plug solved the problem .
