Graphic card for old P4 pc

I have a old p4 pc. It has no pci-e slot but It has a 4x agp slot and pci slots.
Can anyone suggest a good graphics card for this pc (nvidia or ati) within 2000rs.

Will a 8x agp card work well with 4x agp slot?

I think it would be better if i buy a pci graphics card because i can use that card even if i upgrade my computer. What are best pci graphics card available in the market?
